I am a passionate creative leader with a background in management, art direction, graphic design, and marketing. I bring ideas to life and life to ideas.
Some career highlights:
Collaborating with Linda Kane Design on the rebrand of CBS Chicago
In 2006, under my leadership, CBS Chicago’s design team won a total of six BDA Design Awards, more than any television station in the country
In 2012, I hired a young talent for a TV commercial I art-directed for Nicor Gas. A few years later, he became the voice of Nemo in Disney’s “Finding Dory”
Creative collaborations with The MRN Agency on campaigns and event activations for AT&T and other clients
I have received many honors for my work including Emmys, Promax, and BDA awards. In 2023, my work with The MRN Agency in Los Angeles was recognized by the MUSE Creative Awards, earning a Gold and a Silver. Earlier this year, another creative collaboration with the agency, a youth soccer tournament and brand activation for AT&T, earned two Gold MUSE Creative Awards. My professional affiliations include ten years of service on the Board of Governors of PromaxBDA, a global association for marketing and design professionals in the entertainment industry. Also, I was an active board member of the Respiratory Health Association for several years.
My philanthropic efforts include providing design support and art direction to nonprofit organizations that serve the community. Currently, I provide pro bono design services to One For One Chicago, an organization that supports young adults living in Chicago neighborhoods with high rates of violent crime and joblessness. I am also mentoring a young man affiliated with their program.
I discovered my love for languages and words at an early age. Bilingual in Spanish and English, I took courses in French and other languages in college.
I enjoy running, biking, listening to music, and photography.
